Friendship, Hope and Child Labour in Mongolia

Our aim was to make a media piece that would highlight child labour in Mongolia. It is made by these four young men, themselves involved in construction labour whilst still being under 18. But it's not only about child labour. It's also about friendship. And hope.

The Money That Brought the Ghosts

In 2012, CYPPD partnered with Akosia and Project Mongolia to implement a film-making project with 25 participants, in which they learnt technical skills such as set design, character development, storyboarding, screen writing, acting, filming, directing and editing. Their film entitled ‘The Money That Brought the Ghosts’ examines how alcohol abuse and greed can lead to devastating and violent acts which can ruin relationships.
