Since 2002 CYPPD has been highlighting and advocating for the disadvantaged and marginalized children of Mongolia. CYPPD works through raising awareness about child rights, running training and other educational activities and supporting the children to access their basic needs such as education, play and health services.

CYPPD entered the ‘Elimination of Child Prostitution and Trafficking’ (ECPAT) network in 2004. Within this network it has taken an active role in tackling trafficking and the selling of girls for sexual purposes. Preventing girls from prostitution and rehabilitating them is an important ongoing activity undertaken by our organisation.

In 2008, CYPPD became the coordinating organisation for the National Network Against the Worst Forms of Child Labour.
